Kabanos

These little smoked gems are based on the traditional Polish snack made from British pork shoulder and are back by very, very popular demand.

The name Kabanos (Cabanossi / Kabanoski / Kabana in Polish), comes from the word ‘kabanek’, a nickname given to young fat hogs. One of the most popular Polish sausages and probably the finest sausage stick in the world!

It’s the Pepperami that went to finishing school - great with a bit of Mustard and your favourite beverage. Also perfect for a picnic or a snack to help you through the day.

Available in the following wholesale packsizes:

As a small / Deli pack of 200g (approx 10 sticks)

As a larger catering sized 500g pack (approx 25 sticks) priced by kg.

Large packs sent with a 60-90 days shelf life (can be extended). Generally the smaller deli packs sent with a 6-8 week shelf life (can be extended if refrigerated).

We suggest to use within 7 days of opening, if you have a vacuum sealer machine, then you can re-seal the packs to stop the clock. Use by the use by date, or contact us for a shelf life extension.

KABANOS STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ideally store them in the fridge, as this maintains them the best. Once opened, transfer any remaining snacking sticks to clean & dry kilner jars. It doesn’t need to be airtight the entire time. We suggest opening just a pack at a time, or the min of just what you need. When your business is closed (ie night time) then we suggest storing the Kilner jars in the refrigerator to maintain the best quality. Always refer to the "Best Before" date printed on the packaging. Consume the beer sticks before the expiry date for the best flavour and quality. Enjoy!
