You can now choose a delivery date, and we will try our best to aim to deliver that on that day, or just before. We use DPD for our deliveries, and you can track the journey in flight. We are adding an extra day of delivery leadtime for the Christmas peak period, just to be safe and ensure you dont miss out. Your order will be delivered by DPD. We will send you a DPD tracking number where you can track your order and you will be given a 1 hour time window on the day of delivery. It will notify you when it leaves the DPD depot. If you need to amend your delivery options you can do this via the DPD emails/texts.
There is an additional charge to the Scottish Highlands and Islands and Isle Of Man, Guernsey, Jersey & Northern Ireland, as imposed by our carriers. And a min order value that applies. So please choose as appropriate at check out. Currently we do not ship outside the UK.
Orders can be collected free of charge from our site in Islington, North London. Please choose the collection option at checkout. These can be collected the next working day, on weekdays Mon to Fri during our core hours of 8am to 2pm. The address is 25A Cobble Lane, Islington, N1 1SF. We are closed public holidays.
If you have selected a particular delivery date, then we will aim to deliver that day. The meats can be stored ambient and do not need to be stored chilled. Although the fridge is still the best place to keep them.
Once you are sent the DPD tracking details then you can track your package, add any additional info (like leave in porch, with leave at neighbour, etc). We suggest you use the DPD App in the Apple Store & Play Store for a better experience, and you can upload additional delivery info & a photo of your property to help the driver.
You can also find your tracking details if you have set up an online account with us. Make sure you have validated your email address. If you have forgotten your password to login in, then just click forgotten password.
If your order has not been sent out yet, then contact us immediately on meat@cobblelanecured.com and we will change that. If you have your order number handy, or the email address it was ordered from, then please provide that as that will greatly help. If your order has already been dispatched then use the DPD App or DPD online to track or make changes.
Orders placed by 8pm are usually fulfilled the next working day & sent by an overnight DPD courier service, so will be delivered the day after that. So if you order on Sunday eve, then normally it would be delivered Tuesday.
DPD are now offering our customers even more choice and convenience via DPD with their special VIP Experience. You will be able to upgrade your delivery slot for either before or after 12 noon, 7 days a week, but this does come at an additional fee. Please check via the DPD App, or DPD online.
If your purchase is a gift, we will send your order with a delivery note but no invoice. Also, feel free to pop a short gift note message inside - just add this to "notes to seller" at checkout.

The cured meats can be stored ambient and do not need to be stored chilled, this is made possible with the extended fermentation and maturation stages traditionally used in cured meat production.
Whilst packed, store them in a cool place, ideally the fridge. Otherwise in winter then the shed, garage or larder are also ok. Once opened, remove packaging and allow 60 minutes to get up to room temperature & enjoy. What you don’t eat just wrap in greaseproof paper and/or an airtight container and store in the fridge and eat within 3 days.
Our products are sent in a nice presentable recyclable cardboard box and are also further protected with a recyclable DPD bag. The packaging is tasteful & minimal. We have no branding on the DPD bag, so it can be kept a secret or surprise if it is a present

We only use British meat in our products; pork and beef from traditional British breeds, lamb and goats, and everything is produced in our sites in Islington & Buckingham in England.
All of our products are free of allergens, and are gluten free. None of our products contain sulphites. For the full ingredients, check the description of each individual product in our online shop.
All of our products are hung for a ‘period of maturation’ alongside our other salamis in a climate controlled chamber. The presence of ‘mould’ is part of the natural process. These mould cultures are harmless, flavour developing and product protecting. All of our products are lab tested for impurities and harmful bacteria prior to release for sale. The mould can be removed easily with a dry cloth, or for further flavour enhancement washed with a little wine and balsamic vinegar. If the product is within the best before date, and still sealed properly, then there should not be an issue. If in doubt, send a photo to meat@cobblelanecured.com
None of our meats are Halal. We do have some pork free options, such as the Lamb Salami, Bresaola & Wagyu Beef Salami.

For larger groups, we can quote for bespoke pre-sliced platters to suit your needs and budget. We supply our sliced meats to the UK's best restaurants, pubs, bars and hotels, and the beauty of our high-quality charcuterie is that it travels well because of our extensive maturation process and airtight packaging. We use same-day couriers for central London, and DPD overnight beyond that. Ideally please allow at least 5 working days leadtime.
